IAAD Scholarships Contest 2012-2013

    

Turin-based IAAD (Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design) has presented this year’s Scholarships Contest, with twelve scholarships available in four specializations.

The competition offers participants the possibility of winning twelve scholarships to attend the first level after-diploma specializations (Bachelor).

The four specializations – Transportation design, Industrial design, Interior & furniture design and Advertising and graphic design, are officially recognized by EABHES – European Accreditation Board of Higher Schools for the obtaining of the European Bachelor of Science in Design.

These is a different contest brief for each department:

·                         Department of Transportation design - Design the new edition of a car in contemporary terms that has played a leading role in the history of automotive design.

·                         Department of Industrial Design - Design a toy for children aged between 2 and 5 years.

·                         Department of Interior and furniture design – Design a space and its furnitures, to promote yourself, to express your personality and your style. The project should clearly emphasize your choice for colours, materials and lighting. Please shows which functions is more important for your needs.

·                         Department of Communication and Graphic Design – Re-design the logo and the advertising page for an existing product.

The Scholarships, amounting to the 100%, 50% and 20% of the attendance fee of the Bachelors, will be assigned to the three first classified in each of the four different specializations; the student will have to pay the admission fee and the EABHES tax, both for each academic year.

The submitted works will be evaluated by a jury composed by:
